Riverside Charitable Corporation ("RCC") is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. Founded in 1988 and for more than 20 years, RCC has been guided by concerned and compassionate people committed to providing those who are unable to afford the necessities of life with safe, decent, supportive-service-enriched affordable housing.

Our exceptional and award winning affordable multi-family and senior communities provide leadership models for other communities and organizations to aspire to. Our unique management and operating approach offers a seamless continuum of care for families of lower income. Our homes are created using combinations of Bond financing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and various government resources. RCC’s extended community activities include the delivery of professional social and educational programs to families, children and the elderly. RCC has also helped thousands of deserving families’ purchase their own homes.

MISSION
The Mission of Riverside Charitable Corporation is to help those who cannot afford the necessities of life. Our Mission includes fostering the creation, management, and preservation of supportive service-enriched affordable housing for people of lower income.

GOAL
Our nonpartisan goal is to help resolve the preeminent quality of life issues of human suffering, poverty and affordable housing by providing creative and innovative solutions to the problems affecting our communities.

PHILOSOPHY
A prerequisite to creating safe, decent housing for families in need of assistance is caring individuals and organizations willing to work together with the common goals of creating affordable housing and ensuring the availability of indispensable social programs that enable people to empower themselves, establish self-sufficiency, strengthen their families and help their neighborhoods to be safe, productive communities.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Social services are delivered through our nonprofit partner Life Skills Training & Educational Program Services (LifeSTEPS). We help those in need with real case management and provide a safety net of caring professionals that help save families at risk. The Life STEPS program offers additional resources such as educational and social services designed to strengthen families with a focus on life skills training, education and supportive services for children and adults www.lifestepsusa.org.
